On the 150th birth centenary year of Mahatma Gandhi, a series of events spanning over a week was organized at Birsa Agricultural University. Cleaning and sanitation programme was organized on different dates in College of Biotechnology, Faculty of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, BAU Headquarters and Faculty of Agriculture in which a large number of students, teachers and non-teaching staff participated. Rangoli and quiz competition for all the students of the University was held at Ranchi Agriculture College on September 30. Run for Bapu was organized on the campus on October 1 in which besides students, BAU teachers, other staff and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ram Shankar Kureel also participated. Prize distribution and concluding function of the weeklong celebrations will be held in RAC Auditorium on October 2, 2019.
